Opting out means that you will pay more for electricity, and you will no longer be participating in a locally-owned, clean energy program program that supports our local community.

 

If you are opting out of Western Community Energy (WCE) due to rate or cost concerns, we encourage you to please review our Understanding Your Bill page. It is important to learn more about the generation charges that Southern California Edison (SCE) applies to your bill. Overall, WCE costs less and your power is cleaner and includes more carbon-free energy. You may also contact our customer service team to walk you through your bill over the phone.

With WCE you receive the same delivery system, billing, and support you’ve always received from SCE – only the source of your power generation changes.

WCE is locally operated and is committed to providing you with options to best suit the needs of you, your business, or your family.

Note: Customers who opt-out before or within the first 60 days of WCE service may return to WCE at any time. Customers who opt-out after the first 60 days of service with WCE will have a charge from SCE and will be required to stay with SCE for one year. Complete the form below to opt-out of WCE service and return to SCE.
